About this Organisation:

The Ministry of Education is the ministry of the government of Spain responsible for the administration and the preservation of the public universities, non-university education and professional training. Deputy-Directorate General of VET, Ministry of Education, the 17 Autonomous Regions and local corporations are responsible for the education system. The Ministry of Education, in its capacity as a State central administrative body, is in charge of exercising the powers, essentially regulatory in nature, ensuring the homogeneity and basic unity of the education system. The Autonomous Regions are responsible for the implementation of the education system. The local corporations have capacity to cooperate and to enforce.  Activities include: representation of the country, exchange of good practices and dissemination of information.
