Mr. Karavitis is currently working at the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs but he is temporarily assigned to NOCQ (Department of Quality Assurance). From 2004 until 2010 he had worked at the Organisation for Vocational Training (O.E.E.K.) which was responsible for the Initial Vocational Training. From 2004 to 2007 he was the Technical Support Agent for Cedefop Study Visits (Greece). As Head of the European Programs Unit he was in charge of implementing LdV Mobility projects for the Public Institutes for Vocational Training in Post Secondary Education. He has been active in the European projects: EQF-Frame, Beatric, Sesamo, In-Learning and Orsa Minore as a researcher. He has also been participating in the ENQA-VET network. Being a holder of an MSc in Tourism Management, he has worked in the Tourism Market and has been involved in Educational Researches and the National Forum for Vocational Training in the field of Tourism.
