About this Organisation:

ISFOL – The Institute for the Development of Vocational Training of Workers supports the work of Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and Ministry of Education, University and Research in the field of vocational education and training.

ISFOL activities cover all the fields relating to VET:

Giorgio Allulli is at present a Research Director in ISFOL and the Coordinator of the Italian Reference Point for Quality Assurance in VET (started in 2006). He has been a member of European groups working on quality assurance since 2001 and the Vice-chairperson of ENQA-VET for the previous four years. His prevailing professional interest is the evaluation of educational and training systems. He has been a member of executive and scientific Boards of Invalsi (Italian national Institute for School Evaluation), member of the evaluation boards of the Universities of Milano (Cattolica), Siena and Venezia and author of many books and articles on this topic. He has also directed the secretariat of the Italian Universities Rectors Conference and has been the advisor of the Prime Minister Office for the integration of education and training systems and a member of ETF Advisory Committee. He worked as a consultant of the main national and international institutions (Italian Parliament, OECD, CEDEFOP, etc.) and was a member of the scientific board of many educational magazines.
