Secretariat

The Secretariat provides leadership and support for the efficient organisation and management of business and the range of activities which comprise the EQAVET Network’s work programme, facilitating cooperation between the EU Member States and the Commission.

Main responsibilities of the Secretariat:

  • Provides expertise in the field of quality assurance in VET to help the work of the Network, in particular the work of the quality assurance national reference points 
  • Coordinates, in close cooperation with the Commission and the Member States the reporting activities laid down in the Recommendation 
  • Provides expert support and input in drafting of various documents (reports, notes, speeches, etc.) and the work of the working groups
  • Communicates and disseminates efficiently the outcomes of the Network, particularly those regarding policy-useful content, which contribute to the process of improving and building a culture of quality assurance within and across EU

Sean Feerick

Director

Sean is a senior level programme manager and policy analyst responsible for directing the Secretariat, guiding and organising the work of a team of experts and managing the implementation of the EQAVET work programme.

Dr. Arancha Oviedo-García

Quality Assurance Policy Officer

Arancha is responsible for developing policy materials to ensure accessibility and relevance of the content developed by EQAVET and other EU and international bodies to a wider audience of policymakers, VET providers and other relevant stakeholders.

Karolina Kolodziejczyk

Project Administrator

Karolina is responsible for coordinating day to day work of the Secretariat and EQAVET activities, including organising meetings and providing information and administrative support to the Network Members.
