The European Commission has just published the first issue of a newsletter dedicated to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The newsletter is meant to reach and inform a broad audience of experts, decision-makers and practitioners involved in education, training and qualifications. The aim is to encourage and support debate on the way in which the European Qualifications Framework is being put in practice both within EU countries and at the European level. The first issue of the EQF newsletter takes a look at how the EQF is becoming a reality across Europe, with examples from Malta and Ireland, and how it is already creating interest outside Europe. The EQF Newsletter is produced by the European Commission with the support of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) and the European Training Foundation (ETF). It will be published three times a year. If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter please register by sending an email to: eac-eqf-newsletter@ec.europa.eu.
