This on-line tool, based on the experiences of 24 Member States, European VET providers associations and Social Partners, has been produced by EQAVET. It was developed between June 2011 and February 201 as part of the EQAVET work programme 2010-2012. It is based on a series of meetings, collaborative work and examples provided by members of EQAVET’s working groups on developing guidelines and quality indicators in VET to support the national implementation approaches for using the European Quality Assurance Reference Framework for VET. It builds on the work developed by ENQAVET (2008-2009).

EQAVET is grateful to the members of the two working groups for offering their experiences, expertise and understanding of quality assurance systems.

The EQAVET working groups were supported by the EQAVET secretariat, provided by FETAC in Ireland, and two independent EQAVET experts, Keith Brumfitt and Maria Emilia Galv√£o.
