Introduction
Developing a quality assurance system is complex and takes time. The four stages of the quality assurance cycle are interrelated and need to be addressed holistically. However for those looking at the Implementation Stage they need to consider:
- there are many examples of other Member States that have already addressed these issues
- an effective communications strategy is designed early in the process
- consideration is given to the financial implications of implementing a national approach to quality assurance
- the bureaucratic burden of implementation is proportionate and acceptable
