Information seminars for national reference points

The EQAVET Secretariat organised two information seminars for National Reference Points in May and September 2012. Each seminar provided an opportunity for key actors with a multiplier role in their national systems to familiarise themselves with the results of the work undertaken in the EQAVET working groups since 2010.

The objectives of the seminars were to:

  • Communicate and use what has been produced in the working groups on guidelines and indicators.
  • Provide an interactive “hands on” learning experience for participants.
  • Train the trainers and create a nucleus of people who will lead training activities in their national contexts.

The seminars provided an opportunity for participants to engage in training simulation activities using the material developed by the Network. Participants engaged in a process of reflection through their participation in activities which can then be used for training activities at national level.

The first seminar was held in Athens on 10-11 May and the second seminar was held in Paris on 27-28 September.
