Working Groups 2010
Working groups were a central part of the EQAVET Work Programme for 2010-2012. Their key task was to develop practical guidance and materials which will assist Member States in developing their national approaches to reporting on the implementation of the Recommendation. The working groups addressed the following tasks:
Working Group 1: develop guidelines and tools to support the development of national implementation approaches for using the Reference Framework and to improve the quality assurance of VET provision.
Working Group 2: consider the use of indicators for measuring quality in order to support the preparation of the national reviews of the implementation of the Reference Framework and to develop a culture of using indicators to self-monitor the quality assurance processes of VET provision.
Each working group comprised members designated by Member States and representatives of the social partners. The groups were guided and supported by appointed quality assurance experts.
Working groups provided an opportunity for sharing experiences, discussion on policy examples and production of policy-useful material to support the best use of the Reference Framework according to specific national requirements. They built on existing expertise and aimed to contribute effective solutions to the issues faced by participating countries, whilst significantly contributing to progress in the work ahead.
