Peer Learning Activity on "How quality assurance processes can be used to make VET more attractive"
The Peer Learning Activity (PLA) was organised by the EQAVET Secretariat is partnership with DE-QAVET (the NRP in Germany) and BIBB (the German Federal Institute for VET). The meeting took in Berlin on 28 - 29 November 2019 and included a visit to a VET school: SHK Kompetenzzentrum.
The PLA discussed how well-organised and valued quality assurance systems, based on the EQAVET Framework, encourage more learners to consider VET programmes. Through the school visit and discussions relating to three national systems the participants strengthened their understanding of how quality assurance can be used to promote VET programmes
During the PLA most of the available time was dedicated to discussion following short presentations from three Member States: Germany, Spain and The Netherlands
