Netherlands - The quality assurance of examinations at the national level

The design of each examination, based on learning outcomes, is organised by an examination committee in each VET school. This committee can decide to develop their own examinations or contract with an outside specialist examinations company. The examination committee in each VET school is independent from the school Board even though the Board is accountable for the quality of the arrangements.
