Teacher/trainer registration

DEFINITION: Being registered certifies that a teacher is satisfactorily trained, qualified, and suitable to be a teacher. As with all professional regulation systems, teacher registration is designed to provide assurance to future employers, parents and caregivers, and the public that the requirements for registration have been met.
